  • I’ll be in touch within 1 business day to schedule our first trial lesson and answer any questions you might have. If you scheduled a virtual lesson, you’ll receive an email with Zoom and payment links and further details for our session. You can also sign up for a virtual lesson here.

  • No payment is required until after the lesson!

  • Students with no experience will work on a few simple exercises, learn the names of the drums, and play their first song! No prior experience is required.

  • Students can start taking lessons with just a practice pad and a pair of sticks (~$40 or so). After 2 or 3 months, a drum set is required. I’m happy to provide guidance in purchasing a new or used option! Suitable beginner sets can be had on the used marketplace for as little as $200-300.

  • Practice Space is a 3rd party app that allows students to track their practice time, view lesson notes and instructions from me, and earn awards when they reach their goals.

    Students can earn gems to purchase items such as gift cards, candy bars, and music gear from the Studio Store at any time. They can also participate in the Summer Practice Challenge and compete against the rest of the studio to earn a large grand prize ($50 movie gift cards with their favorite candy, or similar)!

  • Lessons for the month are scheduled roughly 10 days prior to the beginning of the month. I aim to schedule 3-4 lessons with each student.

    I do not provide makeup lessons, but I will attempt to reschedule a lesson within the month if you let me know ahead of time.

    Payment is due upon the completion of each lesson.

    Lessons that are cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hrs before the lesson will not be billed. Lessons cancelled within 24 hrs will be billed at the standard rate.

    I do not put a limit on the number of cancellations per month, but an excessive number of cancellations may result in discontinuation of lessons.

  • Recitals are free to participate in and highly encouraged. They are not required, but they are a lot of fun!

    Students will select a song to perform at the recital a month or two before the recital date.

    All recital logistics are handled by me, all you have to do is show up with sticks and rock out!

  • I accept all major credit cards, Venmo, and cash.
